2.Can I just use WiFi in a hotel or a cafe?

WiFi in hotels and café’s are open to anyone so are very risky and insecure. Using public free WiFi can put you and your personal data in danger of being hacked. Public WiFi areas are frequent targets of cyber-criminals. That is why it is best to never use public Wifi. In many countries, hotel and café WiFi you must pay for usage and connections can be slow and insecure.

3.Is my Urocomm WiFi network secure?

Urocomm WiFi networks are secure and keep your data safe. We connect you directly, securely and privately to Internet Service Providers. Your connection will not be open to the public. Only those with the network name and password can access the network.

4.What should I do when my Phone/Tablet cannot connect with the device?

1). Make sure the Phone/Tablet’s WLAN Wi-Fi is turned on.

2). Refresh your device's network connection list and search for the device’s SSID.

3). Make sure to input the correct password.

4). Disconnect your device from your current network and then reconnect.

5.What should I do when the device has no internet connection?

1). Make sure the device status is normal. Please not that the signal may be weaker when in airports, mountainous areas, basements, rural areas, on highways, islands and at harbors. Please restart and try again after moving to a different location.

6.What happens when my data runs out?

You can easily top up a new data plan anytime via the Urocomm website or app.

7.Can I use my old Urocomm WiFi device?

Yes. As long as your device is functioning, you can continue using it with new data plans.
If your device is outdated, we also offer upgrade promotions for existing users.

8.How do I change the Wi-Fi name and password?

First, connect your mobile phone or PC device to your Mobile Wi-Fi WLAN network by entering website as your user manual (like “192.168.225.1” or “192.168.0.1”) into your browser. Enter the password “12345678” to open the administrative interface. On this platform, you can change your Wi-Fi name and password. Remember to save after changes have been made.

Alternatively, you can change the Wi-Fi name and password in the Urocomm APP

If your device is lost accidentally, please contact customer service to freeze your account to avoid additional fees.
