You bought a UROCOMM eSIM, the QR code is sitting in your inbox, and you want to know exactly when to flip the switch. Airport and hotel WiFi are good places to do the final activation. Just don't activate while you're still on the airplane or at home.

Your iPhone 15 can keep two lines active at once, which means you don't have to remove your home SIM to use UROCOMM data. The trick is to leave the UROCOMM line switched off until you land.
At home: install the profile

Your iPhone won't add a second eSIM
If your iPhone 15 is carrier-locked, it may refuse to install a UROCOMM profile. That's a hard limitation, not a faulty QR code.
You have two options. Use a physical SIM from a local carrier, or skip the SIM slot entirely with a portable WiFi hotspot. The hotspot route keeps your home number untouched and gives data to your whole group.
